Car accident with full left side impaction door will not open doors will not open and I was not able to move out of my seat and yet I was stuck behind the steering wheel behind smashed impacted buckled, steering wheel did not deploy the airbags.

Drivers side rear door can not be opened from out side the car can be opened from cabin side. Passenger side rear door can not be opened from out side the car or from cabin side. Failure occured in early January 2016. Presents unsafe inconvienent space for passengers if used. Occred parked in drive way.

On this 2001 Lincoln Ls sports package , the rocker panels, inner and outer is completely rusted out . These defects significantly affects the safety of this vehicle the local Lincoln / Ford dealership has verified these defects and the wvsp and division of public safety has inspected and examined this vehicle and as an direct result of their findings of fact, has deemed vehicle to be road unworthy and posed too serious risk for its driver (myself) , for its occupants (mine) and for other drivers on highways and for pedestrians and therefore removed it from being able to move, from being able to operate , and removed it from being able to be driven on any and all highways. . The defects on this vehicle in their findings of facts are significant and serious in nature and was not caused by me as the registered owner of it.

This 2001 Lincoln Ls sports package has substantial defects that impairs its safety , the safety of its drivers, the safety of its occupants, the safety of other drivers on highways and roads , and the safety of pedestrians. The rocker panels , inner and outer are completely rusted out. Any impact this vehicle incurred will likely to cause death or serious bodily injury if the vehicle is driven and or operated on highways and roads.

Need to know if accident to this vehicle.

While shifting gears the vehicle jerked and vibrated uncontrollably. The driver was able to maintain control of the vehicle and pulled over. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. However, mechanic could not duplicate the problem at this time. Blemish in rear leater seats. Engine stalls out and occasions surges/hesitates. Very hard 1-2 shift and transmission hunts 4-5 shift. No problem found. Transmission was upgraded for 2004 Ls to syncro type, which accounts for a crisp 1-2 shift. Under load going up hills vehicle will buck/loses power on acceleration. Powertrain control module (pcm) upgraded. Right side visor inoperative and replaced. Left front sill panel popped off. Sill panel reattached. Cigarette lighter inoperative and replaced. When steping on gas vehicle hesitates then takes off. No problem found. Traction control and abs lamps were on. Left front abs sensor replaced.

Rear quarter panel defect paint swirls. $2,5oo dealer estimate for warranty repair. Purchased new. Mr.

Vehicle had a leak on passenger's side . Only leaks while driving in heavy rain. Also, leaks at strip that covers interior at an angle of window.

Front bumper air deflector on car has been a major problems since we first drove car off the lot. We are unable to drive into any shopping center that has a slight incline without dragging the car. We have repeatedly complained about this and are told by dealer that car does not sit to low. However I can not even go to our neighborhood post office without scraping the undercarriage of car. On several occasions we have had to use wire coathangers to reattach the plastic-like pan in order to drive the vechicle. My husband and I are not "hot-rodders" but 60+ seniors. We drive only on the freeways and in residential areas . As this has been an ongoing problem we feel that either we have a "lemon" or that there is a major structural defect in the suspension of this vehicle . The day we were to take delivery of our car the salesperson called to notify us it had to go to the body shop because one of the doors was not aligned properly. In hindsight we wonder if that is where our troubles began and if possibly this particular car was dropped off the carrier? we feel that having to return this car to the dealer 8 times for various problems with mileage of only 16000 is excessive.

About a month after consumer purchased vehicle manufacturer started to install some extra protection in front to make vehicle able to pass a test. Also, gave it more protection. Contacted dealer,and dealer was not willing to put this new system on.
