One problem related to accelerator pedal has been reported for the 2006 Lincoln Mark. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated while driving 5 mph, the brake was applied on the vehicle. However, the vehicle accelerated, causing the vehicle to collide with a garage door, causing substantial damage to the door. The vehicle was taken to a service dealer, who was unable to determine the problem. The contact expressed that the cause of the problem was that the brake pedal was too close to the accelerator pedal, causing inadvertent depression of the accelerator pedal when the brake was depressed.
