The vehicle has an abnormal vibration when traveling 65 mph and more. I've owned the vehicle less than 2 weeks and it has been at the Ford dealerships service dept. 3 times. The dealership has not fixed the problem and does not know the cause of this problem. The dealership service dept. Informed me all of the same type of vehicles they have in there inventory have the same problem. The dealership has balanced the original tires, replaced the original tires with new tires and checked front end alignment.
The wheels are cracking from underneath the chrome. A blister appears before the cracking. These wheels are aluminun under the chrome and were used on 96 to 98 lsc models only. A Ford representative looked at the problem, consulted with engineering, and offered to replace the wheels at 40% off listed price. If my vehicle was still under warrenty (less than 50k miles) Lincoln would have replaced them without cost to me.
