Within five years, the contact had to replace the battery one time and the second battery also failed, this year. A mechanic inspected the vehicle and diagnosed that the rear window continued to roll down even when the vehicle was not turned on. The defect was not repaired. The dealer was not contacted regarding the failure; however, the manufacturer was. The failure mileage was 30,000 and the current mileage was 82,000.

When the sales dealer was contacted they referred the contact to the local dealer who referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer referred the contact back to the local dealership. The contact was concern that the vehicle showed corrosion in the interior and this problem could be in other places that could not easily seen.
