The back up camera does not work. I don't know the exact date when it began not working, but it's been many months. This may be due to a faulty electrical or computer system. Occasionally, an error message will appear on screen which states the obvious -- that the camera is not working -- and to contact the dealer. I received a recall notice in the mail on may 9, 2025, but the repair parts are still not available (August 22, 2025), which is 15 weeks after I received the recall notice. This is an excessive amount of time to wait. Since so much time has passed, it seems quite possible that the manufacturer does not intend to ever repair this defect as it is an older vehicle. This is worthy of investigation. At the very least, a status update should be given to owners.
On multiple occasions when filling the car with gas the entire vehicle begins to shake and shuts off. There is no light or warning that comes on prior to this happening. During the malfunction a light on the left side of the control panel says to push the break for full power. However despite pressing on break it takes several attempts ( 5-10 ) to restart the vehicle. It stutter starts several times before starting and being forced into drive. This only happens when re fueling. I have added gas treatments as suggested with no relief. Last night the car powered down completely when I arrived home. The lights would not come on nor would the key unlock the doors and the power locks would not work to unlock the doors. Although this did not happen on the road while driving, I am afraid for the possibility that it can. I will take the vehicle to be inspected as I see a similar complaint here but no specific recall for this issue .

Battery: the battery monitor system seems to be damaged. It keeps shutting down my systems saying to preserve battery. And when and if my sensors go off, they have a different sound as if it's not receiving enough power to notify me of potential danger. Also, when I'm listening to my radio with the engine off, the car shuts down everything giving a display indication that there's something wrong with the battery and electrical system. All systems seem to be weakened, and lacking full power and fully assisting in which it was intended and designed. Back-up camera: camera consistently goes black or blank when I'm in reverse. Sometimes it displays momentarily and then blacks out upon my reversing. There has been several incidents where I have come close to hitting someone backing out/up/in, as the rear view camera with blank out while doing so. Also at times there is no too close warning from the camera or sensors around. (note) please be advised that the above-mentioned does not in any way constitute, or is limited to the complete experience and or exposure to the safty ongoing issues that exsist. Thank you, for your immediate assistance.

Had one headlight issue for months that I knew about. Told bcm issue but the bcm for this vehicle has been discontinued. Was pulled over by the police only to be told the taillights are out. Took it back in and was told electrical issue that the dealer needed to address. Already knew it was the same issue, the bcm. Unfortunately, I have to get rid of this car, and it is still being sold. This car should be labeled a lemon as you will not pass an inspection once this happens and the part needed is no longer available, or repairable.
Our car is in excellent running and cosmetic condition. It has been well maintained and garaged and never in an accident. Recently my wife was driving and was getting angry gestures, honking, and yells from other cars. She discovered that her breaklights and blinkers were not functioning. It is an intermittent problem. It took the Ford dealer multiple days to be able to recreate the problem. They state that the bcm needs to be replaced, but that it is a discontinued part that they cannot fix. It was discontinued in 2016. They also said they have at least one other car at their dealership with the same issue. I don't understand how they can just wash their hands of a safety issue for a car that is less than 7 years old.
Vehicle won't start due to discharged battery.
I am driving in the car and the car is turned off, the car is sometimes driving and the car stops and the car is slowed down, the transmission is the fifth time I take it to the dealer and it returns to the dame problemi am afraid of crashing because the car stop without wanting.
On 5/18/19, car was sitting outside all day. The temperature reached95 degrees that day. That night as I was leaving, I decided to open the sunroof and when I hit the button, the panel would only open 1/2 inch. I thought something was blocking it so I closed it back. When I did that, the inside sunroof panel material started wrinkling up. I proceeded to open again and the same thing happened. I left it alone until the next day. I tried opening it again and the next time I heard something snapped. As I was investigating the inside panel, it had ripped. It looked as though the sun had melting the plastic and as it cooled, when the sunroof opened, it ripped the inside panel cover. Now, this have to be replaced. There need to be better another type of material that's not affected by the sun and also a better tint to protect the glass from getting to hot and causing trapped heat to melt plastic and/or adhesive to come apart. This is a hazard if the sunroof can't open if fire, crash, or smoke is trapped inside the vehicle. I have a infant and two dogs that ride in this vehicle.

Now car has been in another dealer garage for 8 days. Cannot find the problem. Afraid to drive on the highways. Need this addressed before someone gets killed. Need help with this!!.
Since I purchased this vehicle in September of 2018 it has been towed to the dealer twice and I have driven to the dealer 3 times. The battery continues to go dead after I park and lock the vehicle in my garage. I have went into the garage and the vehicle lights would come on without the key fob. I have had the battery replaced and it continues to happen. My car is at the dealer as I write this complaint. Lincoln stated that: they checked for lights coming on could not verify at this time check oasis and no symptom for concern let sit over weekend and still no light confirmation. No problem found at this time3/5/2019. 3/17/2019 vehicle right back at the dealer same problem.
The manual lift gate will not always open. When in drive or in park while turned off, there is a sound coming from the lift gate like it is trying to function.

Batter lost its charge (4 times).
While driving at 5mph, the ignition button was accidentally pushed in. When this happened, the engine immediately turned off, the vehicle rolled for a second and then the car came to a hault as if I slammed on the breaks. The ignition button is located next to the computer screen and the passenger had accidentally pushed it in when he was changing the radio station on the computer screen.
