The contact owns a 2019 Lincoln Mkc. The contact stated that the messages "service advancetrac", "hill start assist not available", "system off - to save battery please turn off ignition or start engine" were displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the battery and the battery monitor sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. The parts were ordered to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 23v378000 (engine); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000.

I visited on 9/11 and discussed with the service manager that I was on the list and they would contact me////// watching the cleveland news tonight I see that there was a fire of a 2019 Mkc3 . I will be 81 years old very soon and really don't need this bullshit.

Electrical System problem #6

Recall 23s28 on my vehicle has never been repaired. Have contacted dealership several times and have been told I would have to wait for part. Three months is not acceptable . I have tried to call 888-327-4236 and line does not connect. Also tried to email NHTSA. Gov and will not go through.

Electrical System problem #7

I received a recall in July 2023 recall (23v378). It has now been six months of parking my car outdoors. I have contacted the dealership 3 times to no avail about the repair. Last contact was on 1/24/2024 no returned phone call.

Electrical System problem #8

Https://abc7chicago. Com/Ford-Lincoln-mkc-SUV-recall-fire-concerns/13337855/ the issue stems from a battery monitoring sensor that, because of where it's placed in the vehicle, could get damaged when the battery or electric components around it are serviced. The damage could cause a short circuit that, because there's no fuse in the circuitry, could lead to overheating and a fire. The vehicles involved are model year 2015 through 2019 Lincoln Mkc suvs I am reporting this because of the article that was distributed (above). Per your site, I do not have a recall. Per the Lincoln dealer I do, but they cannot allow me to come in for remediation due to not having guidance from Lincoln yet. Raising further awareness that this is an issue.

Electrical System problem #9

In June of 2023, a potential fire recall was issued. Contacted two dealerships, was told no parts available. In August 2023, a second notice regarding fire (whether car is running or parked). Called dealer and was told “no parts yet, out on wait list, no idea when parts will come in. ” called several times.

Electrical System problem #10

I purchased this vehicle less than 30 days. It had 29,257 miles. From day one, the vehicle came with no heating. When you push for heat, the cold ac blows. The part is in national back order. Secondly, when driving car at 20- 45 miles there is vibration, like a window is down when on a highway, but I'm driving in my neighborhood with all windows up. The vibration is unbearable. Thirdly and most importantly, when I slow to break, the car revs up, as if it won't stop. This is very unsettling. I'm never at ease because of this. This is a newer vehicle. There's a Toyota camry 2011 and a Mitsubishi outlander 2018 outperforming my newer Lincoln Mkc 2019. I'm now afraid to drive the Mkc because of the safety concerns. I just bought the car in October 5, 2022. I've reported this to corporate Lincoln. I don't understand why there hasn't been a recall. I do notice a flood of these vehicles in the market for sale. I'm afraid to drive this vehicle.

Electrical System problem #11

Vehicle shut down completely while driving on the highway. The error message "the vehicle has shut down" appearedin on the dashboard. Had there been a transport trailer behind us, we could have been killed. Ford customer service is doing nothing for us. Very disappointing as my mother now has to drive a vehicle that she is afraid to drive. This car is unsafe!.

Electrical System problem #12

The vehicle was recalled. I took the vehicle to the dealer where it was purchased. It was serviced. The engine issue was addressed, so we thought. The repair/replacement parts did not remedy the issue, despite it being in the shop for over 6 months. The problem persists. It is overheating in a 5 minute drive. The local service department is saying there is no other remedy. They keep asking we bring it in for another diagnosis, but the problem is the same as the 47,000 other vehicles that have been recalled by this same issue. We purchased the car and have not been able to use it.
