Power Steering Light On problems of the 2010 Lincoln MKS

Tl- the contact owns a 2010 Lincoln Mks. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, the power steering completely failed. The steering warning light illuminated as the power steering failed. The contact was able to take the vehicle to a Ford dealer(crescent Ford 100 old winston rd, high point, nc 27265 336-869-2181) where he was informed that there was a recall on the vehicle. Upon investigation, a recall was placed on the 2011-12 Lincoln Mks NHTSA campaign number: 15v340000(steering); however, a recall was not placed on the 2010 vehicle, the contact stated that he had experienced the same failure on his vehicle. The manufacturer had not be notified of the failure. The vehicle had not repaired. The failure mileage was 168,000. Jo.
