Exterior Lighting Problems of Lincoln MKS

Lincoln customer service has been an ultimate nightmare. Previously spent $2,000 just so the car would stop blasting the heat, blasting the radio, locking and unlocking vehicle. In order to get the car stereo working it’s an additional $4,000. From all my research I’m relieved I’m one of many dealing with this recall Lincoln refuses to take responsibility on screwing loyal customers like me. The car retains water in the bottom of door frames. Front collision doesn’t work and it will sometimes go crazy when I’m near car like locking and unlocking car sporadically. I refuse to allow any children to ride in this car due to its unpredictable behavior like it has a mind of its own. The contact owns a 2013 Lincoln Mks. The contact stated that water was leaking into the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that water was leaking through the sunroof as the drain had not been cleaned. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated upon starting the vehicle, the front passenger's side headlight failed to illuminate. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the headlight failed due to water damage. The dealer diagnosed that the front passenger's side headlight needed to be replaced; however, the dealer declined to replace the headlight under the warranty. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the repair was covered under warranty. However, the dealer informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under the warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000. The VIN was unavailable.

Every recall associated with the 2013 Lincoln Mks I have wrong with my vehicles. But when I call to have it serviced they tell me my VIN number is not included in any recalls, but yet my vehicle has all the recall problems.

I have an exceptionally large amount of moisture in the passenger headlamp assembly. I've had it checked at 3 different body shops, including a Lincoln one here in tulsa. All 3 shops couldn't figure out where the moisture is coming from. I have seen this on a couple of other Lincoln Mkss. On the other automobiles that I have seen their peers to be no damage anywhere as is the case with mine. My concern is the moisture is going to get to the bulb or get bulb socket and cause of to short. It seems hardly fair that a vehicle that is only 8 years old but under a hundred thousand miles on it is already having issues that are very expensive and seem to be the fault of the manufacturing process. This has been going on for about 4 months now.

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Lincoln Mks. Non connected day time running lights. I avoided a total of three head on collisions within the past three weeks (the most recent was 08/19/2013).
