A gas type odor enters cabin of vehicle. I believe it to be carbon monoxide. I often have to roll down the windows even in cold winter weather to prevent carbon monoxide from overtaking the cabin when the heating system is on.
Tl- the contact owns a 2010 Lincoln Mkt. The contact stated that while driving 70 mph, without warning the engine seized. The vehicle was able to be restarted. As a result the check engine, reduced power, and low oil pressure warning lights illuminated. The dealer was made aware of the failure where it was diagnosed that the battery had to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,932. The VIN was not available. Mc.
First time I was driving at about 20 miles per hour and let go of the gas pedal the car jumped out of drive and did a jerking sound they replied it was 2 solenoids were replaced the next time I was diving up a hill with a 20% grade and tried to accelerate and it lost all power. It remained the same on acceleration. No power what so ever until I made it to the top.
On several occasions the vehicle's engine shudders and seems to lose power while moving if the gas is stepped on at a fast rate.
