Tl the contact owns a 2011 Lincoln Mkt. While driving 50 mph, there was an abnormal knocking noise coming from the driver's side of the vehicle. The vehicle began to jerk and stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to zumbrota Ford (1660 south main st, zumbrota, mn 55992) where it was diagnosed that the internal ptu needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 105,945.
Hard shifting when rolling down or driving in bumper to bumper traffic. Dealer replaced several parts but it still happening lack of power rattle, knocking sound when accelerate.
