Both rear driver and passenger side toe links were replaced at colonial Ford in connecticut due to the recall. The driver side is fine, the defective part installed at colonial Ford is the passenger side. This should be covered by colonial Ford, as I'm at no fault for the time it took to find this defect which is not apparent until you place the vehicle on a lift and perform a professional inspection. There are no warning lamps or messages to alert the owner there is a defective part that could cause a life threatening accident with a replaced suspension part. Both Lincoln and colonial Ford state there's nothing they can do because the replacement recall part is out of warranty, 1yr. /12,000. I'd driven less than 3,000 miles when the defective replacement was found during a multi-point inspection at a different dealership. Also, the left rear toe link is fine, which proves the problem is with that specific part. Now I'm stuck with a future out of pocket replacement cost and I'm driven around with a recalled part that's more dangerous than the original. Nhtsa and Lincoln should hold dealerships accountable when a life or death situation is created with an installed replacement part during a recall. Not wait for a person to get killed in an accident or a lawsuit to correct a recall replacement part defect.

Rear toe-link failure, and part is available. The failure occurred while I was driving, about 20 mph, heard a loud noise from the back of the vehicle. The vehicle swerved a bit but managed to regain control and come to a complete stop. Was not diagnosed by the dealership, but have determined, through TSB lookup, that this component has been a failure point across various Ford models including the Mkt. No sensor warnings on the dashboard or messages, but was hearing intermittent clunking noises coming from rear of vehicle for about 2 weeks before incident. Usually heard it when rolling over bumps.

On April 30, 2021 as I was driving down the road my steering wheel suddenly starting turning left to right involuntarily causing me to lose control of my car and crash. My vehicle is a total loss and I had just paid heavty deposit and financed a Lincoln Mkt with a dealership that never disclosed to me that my vehicle I just purchased had a recall on it that had been issued last year. Now I am out of my deposit, no car, criminal charges for causing an accident that I could not control, and a company that was well aware of the recall gets all their money plus some and I'm the one in the wrong. Doesn't seem right does it? unfortuntly, the claims adjuster that inspected the vehicle to give an estimate failed to check the rear of the vehicle since all damage was in the front and driver side. I informed my insurance rep of the recall and have sent information on the recall along with the crash report of the incident. I do not recall seeing any warning lamps before this incident but I did feel that something was strange with the cars manuvering ability when accelrating or attempting to pass. It would kind of suddenly start a short of shimming of the vehicle that I have never experienced before in other vehicles driven previous to this one. Those signs were first noticed the second day after purchasing the car and two weeks later the incident occured.

I received a recall letter from Lincoln in early 2020 for a recall on rear suspension tow links. I called the dealer and they said the parts are not available and will have them at the end of the year. I called them in October and they still saying no parts, yet the I called the parts department and they have the parts available if you wana buy it yourself. I drive this car in limousine service and this is such a safety concern not only for me but for the passenger sitting in the back. The customer service at Ford dealerships sucks.
Replacement of rear tow link; have had to replace tires prematurely even after multiple alignments. There is a current recall only received a notice but have not been asked to bring vehicle for repair.

I received a letter from Lincoln to carry out some recalls that were not well repaired and, like the NHTSA recall number 20v072 case, were not repaired. Does Lincoln motor really want to help solve environmental pollution by replacing damaged low-quality catalytic converters, or is all of this false just to show authorities that the company is doing something? I would not like to discover the lie of the Lincoln company, saying that it changed the two (02) catalysts and the four sensors (04) and after the service for several days, I found a poorly executed repair. An easy investigation of photos and videos, before and after, engine light on, new noise (sounds like front catalytic joint), vibration, smell of burning engine cloth, smell of rotten egg that continues to exhale from the exhaust like nothing was done. A simple visit to another Lincoln dealer, with the intention of having to change the catalytic converters, the price estimate was approximately $ 1,400 each catalytic ($ 2,800), 4 sensors $ 786, labor $ 600 = $ 4,189 + tax service performed at orlando Lincoln dealer, 2055 w colonial drive from 07/06/2020 to 07/10/2020 see attached scanner picture from August 4, 2020.

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Lincoln Mkt. The contact stated that the toe link fractured while travelling at 45 mph. The contact believes that the failure may have been due to NHTSA campaign number: 20v072000 (suspension). The driver lost control of the vehicle as the rear was fishtailing across a three lane highway late at night without any traffic. No injuries were sustained. The vehicle went right as a result of the back fishtailing to the left. The contact was then able to stop the vehicle and then pull over off the main highway. The vehicle was towed to the dealer maplecrest Ford Lincoln of union (2800 springfield Ave suite 1, vauxhall, NJ 07088 (908) 964-7700) and they confirmed that it was the toe link that fractured. They repaired both toe links and charged the contact for the repairs even though the VIN was included in NHTSA campaign number: 20v072000 (suspension). The dealer said the contact would be reimbursed when they said it became a full blown recall. The manufacturer had not been contacted yet except for the initial tow to the dealer. The failure mileage was 187,500.

While making a left turn on a bridge the steering wheel became unable to turn. During left turns the steering is often very difficult to steer.

Although the warning was displayed, I was not aware that my car only had an electronic power steering. This type of issue is one that can truly cause a serious accident should one is driving when their power steering go out. The power steering on this car stops more than just your steering wheel and I for one think that there needs to be a recall. It's a good thing that I was parked and glad because my daughter was with me.
