While driving, in city traffic, �low oil pressure� warning light came on and car stalled. Had to put car into neutral and restart. Pulled into a parking lot to check oil levels and it was fine.
The contact owns a 2013 Lincoln Mkx. The contact stated that while driving at 10 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact stated that the electronic throttle body failed on two occasions. The vehicle was repaired at the dealer where the throttle body was replaced but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 41,000.
Purchased vehicle used in November 2015. Noticed every time I put gasoline in the vehicle, it would not start on the first attempt. Months later, check in light come on, took vehicle to a Ford delership (in 2016) and was told nothing was wrong with the vehicle. As time went on, the issue with refueling and engin light countied. In 2017 while driving on the highway in rush hour traffic, a warning light appeared (low oil engin pressure) and the vehicle stalled. Dealership said it was the throttle body and replaced it. About a week later, engin light appeared and one month later received same low oil pressure and the vehicle stalled out again while driving. Vehicle has not been repaired, currently in the shop.
