Blind Spot Detection problem #1

For these last several months, near or around December of 2025 my 2016 Lincoln Mkx has been shorting out or having glitches in the center cabin. The cross traffic system and blindspot sytem fault have turned on and off simultaneously creating a short in the cabin resulting in the ac or heat turning off and on. This also creates a short where the the windows will not roll down, the glove box will not open or the trunk, the doors cant open from the outside. And most serious, my key fob will not open the vehicle. The Lincoln dealership is aware of the problem but has refused to address the problem because they claim they cannot replicate the issue. The dealership has witnessed the problem, yet their tech is never available. The dealership is aware of the issue, and has seen videos of the problem but refuses to address. Originally car max referred the car to Lincoln because carmax claimed they do not have the technology to address the Lincoln's issues. Lincoln claims they cannot replicate and that I should wait for the car to break down.

Blind Spot Detection problem #2

I am reporting a serious mechanical defect in my 2008 Lincoln Mkx involving the internal water pump. This vehicle uses the Ford 3. 5l v6 cyclone engine, where the water pump is mounted inside the engine and driven by the timing chain. My water pump failed unexpectedly, causing coolant to leak into the engine oil. This design flaw poses a serious safety risk due to potential engine failure while driving. This could lead to the engine seizing without warning, loss of power steering and braking, and increased risk of a crash. Ford and Lincoln are aware of this issue, and many owners have reported similar failures, but no recall has been issued. Repairs cost thousands of dollars and often require full engine replacement. This is a known design defect that puts drivers and passengers in danger. I urge NHTSA to investigate and mandate a recall before someone is seriously injured or worse. This failure is unpredictable, dangerous, and affects many vehicles using this engine platform.

Blind Spot Detection problem #3

My backup camera will become green and distorted when backing up. This is intermittent and not constant. When this happens I can’t see what is coming.

Blind Spot Detection problem #4

I am having issues with my touch screen. My screen will go black every other week, for about a day and the the snyc will update. This time, it’s been over a week, and the screen is still black. I have tried changing fuses to no avail. Also, the rear camera does not work. Along with the blind spot warning or the rear cross traffic warning. How should I proceed? I believe it may be a faulty chip in the computer board.

Blind Spot Detection problem #5

No sensor on this year of Lincoln however front blind spot between windshield and rear view outside mirror is horrible which resulted in my accident 2 days ago. . . I have 2 witnesses that can confirm such difficulty seeing while turning.

Blind Spot Detection problem #6

Body control module has developed an internal short that is causing safety systems not to work. It is also affecting the heating/ air conditioning, tire pressure monitoring system. This was recalled previously but the manufacturer wont do anything about it. I have had the vehicle at 2 separate dealerships who say the same thing, that the part is not available and can't be repaired. I called Ford directly and they are refusing to do anything about it since the old recall was performed but clearly never fixed the issue.

Blind Spot Detection problem #7

While in motion it states that the sensors for collision are blocked. While running but parked the electrical/ electronics that run the entertainment system and touch screen are off and will not turn on. The back hatch buttons do not open or close the rear door properly. The sun roof does not fully open whether parked or in motion.
