There is an ongoing problem with the dashboard bubbling. The padded vinyl covering separates from the underlying hard surface. As a result the defroster grill separates from the opening. This renders the defroster suspect and if not inoperable. The results it the vehicle defroster will not clear the windshield of frost or condensation creating a severe visibility issue. The vehicle then becomes unsafe to drive to it's occupants and to other vehicles on the road.
- the contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Mkz, and was concerned because the vehicle failed two frontal offset test that were conducted by the insurance institution of highway safety. The contact feared that this could be a safety issue. The current mileage was 1,000.
