Nothing has happened. I received a recall notice in February 2018 and cannot get it corrected. The Lincoln/Ford agency in southampton, NY says the parts are on order. This has been since February!! so every 2 or 3 weeks I am supposed to call and see if they are in yet. So far---nothing.

Takata recall. I have not received any information on when I can expect to have this recall remedied. I've contacted several dealerships in the elkhart, indiana area and they keep telling me that parts are not available. They also stated that I will receive a letter stating when to bring my vehicle into a dealership for repairs. I'm not sure when the airbag recall first began so, I entered today's date.

I received a recall notice in June of 2016 and as of 10/26/2017 there are no parts available and I was told I would be contacted when they become available. Your recall status site says to file a complaint if I haven't received a remedy for this recall in a timely manner. What am I supposed to do? wait for an accident and death? from what I understand, there is no remedy because they can't get the parts. I don't feel safe having anyone in this vehicle with me.

Takata recall purchased a car with open recall living in a hot humid area houston knowing this should be replaced and thinking it could be done after purchase only to find out Ford has made zero effort to replace this version in over a year with no date of future repair dealership will not repair it for lack of parts on the garbage bag of death maybe a little more effort needs to made in getting the proper repairs done or the safety hazard mitigated in the time it takes to repair said garbage bag of death a higher liability risk for the company should also be applied to anyone injured while waiting for the claymore to be replaced with an airbag with a minimum of one million injury to ten million death per occupant policy guaranteed by each automaker until it makes the vehicle repairs.

"takata recall" received recall for passenger airbag in March,2017. I have been told by dealership that the part is not available now and they cannot give a time when it will be available. Takata has now filed bankruptcy. My complaint is that I did not buy the car from takata, I bought it from a Lincoln dealership. I don't understand why Lincoln can't get another airbag for replacement. It is now October 20,2017. They have had enough time for this recall. I am fearful of a passenger riding in the car if the defective airbag should erupt and kill or injure someone. I can't sell the car. Who's going to buy a car with a recall for a takata airbag?.

Takata recall, I brought this car from a dealership in blacksburg Feb 15, 2017. This recall should have been fixed before the car was sold to me. It is now Feb 18, 2018 and no sign of the parts are available to fix my car. We have several trips planned and no vehicle to drive. We are retired and go alot. We do not want one of us sitting in the backseat for trips. Noone has offer us a vehicle to use in the mean time. We don't have any idea when the part will be available. If you cannot get the part within 2 months, people should be able to have the vehicle replaced. When you call the phone number you get a recording about the recall, no parts available anytime soon. But the Honda dealership I understand are fixed fairly quickly, what is up with this??.
