I was notified April 2021, that my vehicle had an airbag safety recall repair. To date, I have not been notified to bring my vehicle in for the repair to be performed. The parts were to be in the third quarter of 2021, I have been patient. But, this recall addresses the driver side airbag. I am concerned that if it explodes, I could be seriously hurt. Please advise me. What is my next step.

The contact received a recall notice for manufacturer recall number: 19s01 (air bags) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame. The contact stated that nick mayer Lincoln (6180 mayfield rd, mayfield heights, OH 44124, (440) 442-8000) may be able to provide the recall repair. In accordance to the terms specified in the may 4, 2016 amendment to the takata consent order in ea 15001, the contact would be able to receive the part; however, the dealer did not know when the part would be available. The vehicle was also included in NHTSA action number: ea15001 (air bags). The dealer had been contacted for weeks. The manufacturer was contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure. Recently I received a letter from the Lincoln motor company advising me of a recall regarding my car's airbags. I contacted my local Ford dealership, due to no Lincoln dealership nearby and was told no parts were available to replace my cars airbag. On June 4, 2018 I received a second notice advising me again of the recall and also no parts are currently available to repair the safety defect. When will the safety defect be repaired on my vehicle? why am I getting notices of the recall but nothing is being done? please advise me when this safety issue will be resolved.

Takata recall I keep getting the run around from the dealership and cutomer service. I also wasn't able to sell my car as a trade in because they said "we can't sell that, it's a liablitity, so we have to send to auction", then offered me a low low price, so I kept it, and there it sits. I am looking at just disabliing it, I have 6 grandskids~3 can ride in the front seat.

Takata recall. The first recall notice was in March 2017, no parts available for replacing the airbag, a second notice came to me in oct. 26, 2017. The dealers still do not have replacement parts. I have not had a problem with the airbag but I'd feel safer if the airbag was replaced !!!.

Takata recall in March 2017 I received a letter from Lincoln motor company stating that there was a recall for my vehicle regarding the airbags. To date, October 31, 2018 there is still no movement on getting this fixed. Every day I drive a car that is unsafe for the person sitting in the passenger seat. Yesterday I got a notice of a class action settlement that I can’t even enter into because my car hasn’t been fixed yet and the deadline is November 26, 2018. . . . . . . . What gives?.

I received a safety recall notice from Lincoln motor company (17s01) stating the airbag on my vehicle was defective and I would be notified when parts were available. It has been 1 year and no notification. I believe the manufacture has had sufficient time to produce the part and distribute to dealers to correct this deficiency, yet nothing has been done. Thus far their has been no accident and it is unknown if the airbag will deploy properly should a collision occur.
