The door handle on the driver side door broke, which would not allow the locking mechanism to work. . Unable to lock the car door either manually or by using the remote fob. Was able to open & close the door, just could not lock it. This happened while the vehicle was stationary. I understand this same problem exists on the Ford fusion. We had the part replaced today at the cost of $113. 01.

The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Mkz. The contact stated that the owner's manual indicated that the tire size specification was p215/65/r15 however, when the manufacturer was notified they informed the cotnact that the required tire size for the model year vehicle was p225/54/vr17. The manufacturer installed the proper tire size on the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.
