Received safety recall notice NHTSA 25v695 in October 2025. Lincoln has not been diligent in providing a timely remedy for replacing the rear view camera in my vehicle. Rear view cameras are not an item that should take 10 months to replace with a new component. Nhtsa shouldn't allow car manufacturers to issue safety related recalls that are not rectified with 120 days. An excuse of "parts are not available" is not acceptable when Lincoln is building new cars with this new rear view camera every day.
Some times the rear back-up camera dash board display will turn off while maneuvering in reverse. Sometimes it will turn off to answer the phone, while the car is moving in reverse. And other times it will flicker then return to the home page. The dealer says its working normally and they can't duplicate the problem. However its happened at least a half dozen times since I've owned the car, in the past 2 yrs. The problem seems to happen when the car is moving in reverse usually when backing out of a parking space with parked cars on either side of me. The car has a sony information center and back-up camera and cross traffic alert and speed sensing radar. Other then that the car drives impeccably.
