I was in about a 25mph frontal collision. I went through 3 air bags which left only the seat belts to stop me. The upper left (driver's side) of the belt snapped off bone from my cervicalspine and also narrowed a place where a major left side nerve comes out, leaving me nearly paralied on my left side. All I have is a copy of an mri taken in a hospital.
I had a front end collision. My head went through 3 air bags at the corners. The seat belt stopped me and for whatever reason, the right lower buckle damaged my hip joint to the point where I can no longer walk because of pain when applying downward and sometimes upward movement. This was all because of 1 accident.
Seatbelt locks up and does not allow for driver to buckle up. Happens at various times while vehicle is on or off. , both on park position and or drive.

The NHTSA recall number 16v875000 remedy is still not available. I was originally notified on Jan 2017. It has been almost 2 years now with no solution. I am concerned about the seat belts not properly restraining passengers in a crash.
It has been 4 months since recall was announced, and no corrective action is yet available.
Purchased 2014 Lincoln mkz vehicle new. Front passenger restraint system recall notice received in mail in December (recall # 16s42). Spoke to Lincoln (Ford) 1/24/17 to ask estimated resolution date and open a case. No repair date available. Spoke to Lincoln 3/14/17 - no repair date available. Case #s cas-11548706 & cas-11537859 assigned. Ford / Lincoln refused to provide alternative transportation. Dealer offered to buy car back for 40% of new price (car was 2 years at the time). Car is "unsalable" according to other dealers due to this recall. Advised by ftc that recall notification absolves Ford of liability if my family is seriously injured or killed in an accident as a result of this failure. Vehicle was under original warranty when this recall was published. Purchased $2,600 extended warranty from Ford.
