Engine Stall problems of the 1999 Lincoln Navigator

Two problems related to engine stall have been reported for the 1999 Lincoln Navigator. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 06/26/2002

While driving at various speeds engine will stall without warning. Dealer notified. Vehicle would stall as soon as consumer takes off foot from accelerator pedal. Dealer repaired the vehicle; however, consumer had concerns regarding the incident will happen again.

2 Engine Stall problem

Consumer state while vehicle was cold when depressing the brakes without any indication vehicle engine would stall. Vehicle was service by dealer, technician replace idle air control. Please provide further information. Ts.
