Four problems related to wheel have been reported for the 1999 Lincoln Navigator. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Lugnuts/fuel leaking/lighting/seatbelts.
While driving . . . . . . . Without warning the air suspension line exploded and the vehicle became unmanageable . . . Causing me to go off the road and strike various stationary objects . . . . . .
Left rear wheel, rim, and tire disengaged from car while car was traveling at a speed of 65 mph. No work was done on this vehicle since the pdi (predelivery inspection) at the dealership. We want to know the cause of the wheel disengaging and what would prevent it from happening again. The 1998 Navigator had a recall for bad lug nuts. Do the 1999's have the same problem?.
Right front wheel became egg shaped & dealer in chasnsc said it was because of metal fatigue.
