The contact owns a 2000 Lincoln Navigator. During brake application at 10 mph, the brake pedal fell to the floor-board. Consequently she crashed into another vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local repair facility, in which the mechanic attempted to make repairs. However, while in the shop the vehicle caught on fire while idling. The fire department extinguished the flames. The fire report states that fire was caused by brake booster failure. All the plastic components of the braking system and brake lines were destroyed.
