While driving at 85 mph, the steering column locked without warning. The vehicle also lock at 55 and 70 mph. The vehicle locked again after it was fixed but was broken out of the lock. The vehicle would lunge forward when started. The mechanic found nothing wrong. The emergency brake must be used.
While driving at any speed the steering column locked up intermittently. This problem happened five times since July. The dealer worked on the problem and claimed that it was fixed, but the problem still persisted.
