1 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 07/06/2004

The contact owns a 2000 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that while driving 50 mph, the vehicle started shaking. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who applied pins on the suspension and replaced the tires but the failure recurred. The contact also stated that there was a crack on the wheels that caused the bolt joints to fail. The contact also stated that the airbag warning light was illuminated and the ac and heat was inoperable. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 124,000.

2 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 03/10/2004

When driving over 65 mphvehicle vibrated. This caused a distraction to the consumer. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

3 Suspension problem

When vehicle's speed reached 68 mph there was severe vibration. Dealership indicated that tires were not wearing evenly, and made an adjustment. When the tire adjustment was completed vibration started between 34-38 mph.
