Whenever the car is washed or if it snows or rains the car experiences spontaneous electrical activity when no key or person is present using any aspect of the vehicle. For example, after washing the car, the vehicle will drive perfectly fine, but upon being parked, sometimes hours after being parked, the vehicle will then be observed triggering power seats, airbag warning lights, and clicking sounds can be heard. The vehicle has had a power window motor burn out and a wiring harness related to the power seats corrode and fail costing over $700 in repairs. We believe the reason for these problems is due to the windshield leaking on to some kind of electronic control device such as the gem module and then causing the device to short circuit and trigger various electronic lights/switches. More recently, the vehicle was left outside for two weeks with no use and several feet of snow fell along with some rain and the vehicle's battery is now completely discharged due to the electronic problems/moisture leakage.
