Electrical System problem #2

At about 2:30am after hearing some popping noises I went to the vehicle and saw that the engine under the bonnet was on fire. The fire was seeping out from the sides of the bonnet. The vehicle had been parked since 9:20pm the previous night. I called emergency services including the fire department and the police. It spread very quickly in the garage where the car was parked and burnt out the garage and the Tesla plaid parked in the same garage. Firefighters put out the fire with total disintegrated remains. It was just luck that I was awake to catch this at this stage otherwise it would have spread to the house. My 3 children and wife were sleeping. The fire started in the engine of the parked Lincoln Navigator. Visual confirmation of the event is evident.

Electrical System problem #3

I was driving and didn't notice this truck ahead of me as I switched lanes. Although fault is questionable since the truck we traveling extremely slow on the highway, my vehicle had plenty of time to stop with the pre-collision system. That system is intended to avoid front end collisions and apply emergency breaks if required. It didn't. I have video of the system failure from my dash cam.

Electrical System problem #4

The contact owns a 2022 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated while parked in a parking lot on a stormy day, lightening occurred near the vehicle, and the vehicle lost electrical power. The vehicle failed to start after several attempts. The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, the failure could not be duplicated and the vehicle could not be restarted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 57,000.

Electrical System problem #5

2022 Lincoln Navigator l reserve has many issues with modules one of them that keeps goes bad is apin which controls the screen and all other features like massage seats running boards and music and all other controls that gets disabled when it goes bad it’s a frequent problem which I has been having often changed 3 times but the problem is persistent Lincoln hasn’t made a recall for this particular model they are keep updating the software or replacing apin but it’s not a long time fix you’ll have this issue as long as you have this model it’s my 4th time getting fix other issues with this model is blind spot sensor that goes on while driving and it stays on the screen till it’s get reprogrammed at the dealership with updates so this 2022 model is not as same as the other Lincoln Navigator models.

Electrical System problem #6

Vehicle would not start. Did not recognize key fob, phone app for engine start or the password.

Electrical System problem #7

1. The monitor on the vehicle went black on 2 separate occasions so far while the vehicle was moving. The screen rebooted but causes the retractable running boards to be locked in the up position. In order to address the running boards you must go into the settings and adjust the running boards from off to automatic. 2. During use of the active assist, the vehicle on several occasions has just suddenlt decelerated to 45mph regardless of the speed that was set. This has occured with no vehicles infront or to the sides on straight roads.

Electrical System problem #8

Car accelerated very fast while in reverse and brake would not work. After reversing into other cars the car finally stopped. When the car was turned back on it would not going to gear because the break was not being registered as being pressed.
