The throttle body went bad while driving 55mph and 35mph. Over 5 times I could not accelerate while stepping on the gas peddle and it would stall out trying to get it to Ford on the same road for 5 miles. I had to quickly stop and turn it back on with my flashers going less than 35mp on a 55mph road. This happened at first going around a corner you can not stop on due to no visual on the other side which would cause a wreck stopping there. The problem was confirmed by coughlin of heath Ford and they were the ones that fixed it. There was no warning of the throttle body going bad until it happened at that moment and repeated to happen as I tried to get it to Ford on the same road it was happening on into town. The check engine light did come on but it it would go on and off during the situation until it finally stayed on after a few minutes. There is a photo of the report attached to this document.

I’m a snowbird and in the past 18 months, of which I was in iowa for 12 months of this time, the dealership has replaced the fuel pump five times. I’m scared to take this vehicle out on the highway. The module that controls the fuel pump has been replaced once. The third replacement I didn’t even get off the dealers lot before it quit.
Connector for cooling hoses blew out causing engine to overheat and stand my family on the highway. This appears to be a common problem that someone did a youtube video on it. I have put the video link below. Please have them recall before someone gets hurt. Ford Lincoln does not respond. Https://youtu. Be/i_ej_ohwzr4?si=jvslru2d7cszxx78.

Fuel gauge says zero miles to empty and will not take any gas more than a few gallons before kicking pump off. Gauge shows it's over heating but if you turn ignition off and turn right back on it resets and is fine. Codes come back saying nothing about fuel or cooling, but only something about speed control in the hub. Sounds like an electrical issue but no where to be found.

Engine temperature warning light came on. Engine coolant leaked out. Engine die while we were waiting for help on the side of I-15 freeway. The vehicle is now at Lincoln dealership for repair. They also told me that there is a faulty fuel pump code that they are looking at. They told me that the factory did not place a water hose in the properly designed placement. The truck die at about 500 miles after taking delivery from the dealer on 6/23/22 evening. It was tow from baker to henderson on 6/26/22.

Takata recall. At a slow speed, with the foot on the brake, vehicle accelerates. Speed is generally under 10 mph and has happened during turning. . . Either left or right. Specifically: it happened once turning left into a parking spot; it happened making a slow right hand turn on a street; it happened again during a left hand turn into a parking garage. We took it to a shop and the mechanic drove it. It happened to him as well, but I don't have the specifics for the one incident, but he also experienced the brakes not engaging normally to the point where he had to push extremely hard on the brake to stop the vehicle. The vehicle is still with the mechanic. I'm not sure if he's finding the exact cause of the problem. The master cylinder has been replace so far, but 3 of the 5 or 6 incidents occurred afterwards. We did contact the local Lincoln dealership service department and they told us they have never heard of a similar incident. We just purchased the vehicle second hand and have only owned it for 2 weeks. It started the day after purchase. It's dangerous and we don't know where to turn since we bought the vehicle "as is". Will follow up with the mechanic tomorrow, 05/13/2019.

My 2007 Lincoln Navigator may need rail cross-over hose because it contains weak areas. The hose may crack, which could cause a fuel odor and/or fuel leak. This is what I'm smelling outside of my truck.

Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that while the vehicle was stopped, the contact smelled burning rubber and plastic as the vehicle began smoking from both the front driver and passenger side and caught fire. The fire department was not called and the contact extinguished the fire. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to bayway Lincoln 12333 gulf fwy, houston, TX 77034 where it was diagnosed that the fuel and brake lines had overheated and caught fire. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 68,000. Np.
Engine surged causing vehicle to propel forward hitting the vehicle in front of me. There was significant damage to my car and less damage to the truck that I hit. I was in a carpool line at my child's school where it is not uncommon for pedestrians to walk in front of vehicles sitting in line. If this had been the case there would have been a serious injury/death.

Lincoln Navigator vehicles equipped with 5. 4l engines. The fuel rail cross-over hose may contain weak areas. As a result, the hose may crack, which could cause a fuel odor and/or fuel leak.
Engine starts to knock an shake very loudly while coming to a complete stop from simply driving 45mph or it completely lloses all power as I'm driving an a loud poppig explosions coming from the exhuast an they are loud enough were people hehhave pulled up next to me to let me know an afraid the car may blow up. Air suspension dose not come on when it's cold an drives very poorly an misleading to other drivers an law enforcement since I've been pulled over for possible dui because the car is all over the place an jumpy. The radio cuts in an out as I drive, the cruise control doesn't work. I've taken it to 3 different mechanics they all say the same thing take it to the dealer because they can't seem to figure it out. So I took it to galpin Lincoln in van nuys, CA on roscoe blvd an sepulveda an they just found one fuel injector needing replaced an wanted me to $2,500 for labor alone to completely open up my engine an see if it could possibly be the timing chain an realine the camshafts but they are not certain that's actually the problem with my Navigator because they can completely do all that an come up to be fine an be something else but unless I pay $2,500 for labor to just see if it is an have the chance it could not be I still lose those $2,500 because it's a non refundable. Where am I going to come up with that kind of money not alone why am I having to pay that first to see if it's a maybe the reason of all my car problems. Honestly that is ridiculous an not going to pay that kind of money on a maybe answer not a 100 percent we are sure that's the problem. Something needs to give an heaven forbid my car does blow up with my son's in the car driving it just because I needed to pay that amount on a maybe answer is un called for.

Second time the spark plug blew out of the triton 54 head. . Trained tec performed it the first time sert install and worked fine. He didn't touch the factory plugs on the other cylinders. But those blew out this is a Ford design error and flaw but they refuse to acknowledge it. Instead they rather blame the techs and the customer.
