Three problems related to door latch have been reported for the 1996 Lincoln Town Car. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Door latches failed.
No knowledge of recall and no parts. After getting an appointment to bring vehicle in for service of recall 96v070000.
The vehicle's door lock experienced the same defect as stated in recall 96 v 070 000, but it's VIN number was outside of the remedy scope.
