One problem related to turn signal switch has been reported for the 1998 Lincoln Town Car. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Use of the hazard lights resulted in failure of the control module and ultimate failure of both the hazard lights and the turn signals. This occurred in September of 2005 and again in December 2006. The turn signal/ hazard light control had to be replace in both incidents.
