The contact owns a 2002 Lincoln Town Car. The contact stated that the vehicle lunged forward and crashed into the rear of another vehicle. She was unable to stop the vehicle until one minute later. When the consumer was at a stop with the engine running, the engine revved up and the tires would spin. The driver had to turn the engine off and then restart the vehicle. The dealer has been contacted.
