Side/window Air Bag problems of the 2003 Lincoln Town Car

I recently had open heart surgery and need to get the passenger side air bag disabled. My Lincoln dealer will disable the air bag but they need some statement from your agency to allow the to complete the disable. The contact owns a 2002 Lincoln Town Car . The contact stated that while driving the driver side srs air bag deployed without warrant. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the vehicle was not inspected. The manufacturer was notified, but because the warranty expired, no assistance was provided. The failure and current mileages were 45,000.

I had a front end collision in my 2003 Lincoln Town Car and neither the drivers side nor passenger side air bags deployed. It was not until the car had stopped and I was getting out of the car that the drivers airbag deployed. The passenger side never inflated. The impact to my vehicle was so severe that the front end is completely gone and the hood was crumpled back to the windshield. The engine was pushed up against the firewall. Why did my airbags not inflate????!!!!!.
