The dealer admits to me that they have several complaints of the same problem & that Ford has not come up w/a fix. I have a record of my concerns direct to Ford & they advised me that if they found a fix for the problem they would do a recall.

When the consumer pulled over toward the shoulder the car being towed became engulfed in flames. 2007 Lincoln Town Car caught on fire and was destroyed. The police officer saw smoke coming from the vehicle which was being towed.
