Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Lincoln town. The contact stated that the check air suspension and tire fault warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the passenger and driver side air bags and all 4 tire senors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or a diagnostic test or repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 486713. Dr.
No indication or warning prior to incident. Within 2 mi of driving, battery light came on, electrical issues began (radio/dome lights, etc), then smoke billowing from under hood. Immediately pulled over, turned off ignition, and entire front end was on fire.
I was parking at applebees when the car bolted and slammed in the wall. I tried to put it in park but went in reverse also at hgh speed. Finally I was able to brake and go to park. I'm concerned. I did not have my foot on the acceleator. I would like someone to check my car out.
Well I was driving home one day and smoke was starting to poor out from underneath my dashboard luckily I was close enough to the house to be able make it home and then after I had gotten home I cut the car off and was not able to start it up since.
