Two problems related to front seat recliner have been reported for the 1996 Mazda 626. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle was in parked when the consumer turned to reach in the rear seat when the seat back collapsed backwards. The dealer was notified and this has happened several other times. Nlm.
Driver was reaching in rear of vehicle & the driver's seat collapsed backwards. The lever failed to remain locked in place. Driver temporarily lost visibility. Taken vehicle to dealer's.
