One problem related to front seat belt webbing has been reported for the 1997 Mazda 626. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Shoulder belt becomes wedged between floorboard and seatback latch when released. This causes belt to pull latch up when pulling it and releasing back, causing it to fall back. Dealer has been contacted.
