Door latch sensor fails in high temp (>75 deg f). This gives door unlatched alarm, and key in ignition alarm. Happens whenever it sits in sunlight and door heats up. Will temporarily fix itself if a/c runs inside for >20 mins. This has also happened in a b3000 2002 model a friend has. Ford also supposedly recalled mustangs for same issue. Request you have recall extended to Mazda pickups.
