One problem related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch has been reported for the 1997 Mazda B3000. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Overdrive light illuminates, indicating a malfunction within the system, it is difficult to shift from first to second gears. Dealer replaced the solenoid and torque converter, which did not correct the problem.
