Spare Tire problems of the 2000 Mazda B4000

Type of car: 2000 Mazda B4000 truck . I was driving down the road at about 30mph, made a right hand turn into a parking lot. Moments later I noticed in my rear view mirror a tire lying in the road. Turns out my spare tire fell out from underneath my truck. The spare tire carrier cable had snapped allowing the tire to fall to the ground. It's a very good thing this tire didn't come off while I was driving on the freeway the night before. It's alarming to think what could have happened if this had occurred 12 hrs before while travelling at 65 mph. . Read more...
