Vehicle parked. Got into vehicle and noticed large crack in windshield. The crack was not there 2 hours earlier when I got out of it. The crack starts at top center in the front windshield and runs down to the rear view mirror and forms a 's' shape and stops beneath the mirror. It is about 18 inches long. The rear view mirror is attached to a panel that has rain sensor and Smart stop tech package attached to center of windshield right under where the crack appears. This is a safety concern and expensive to replace. I am seeing evidence of many more similar cracks appearing under the tech package mount on the front center windshield.
