The contact owns a 2018 Mazda Cx-5. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 21v875000 ( fuel system, gasoline ) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact was advised to try again in about July or August. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed the remedy would not be available till summer of 2022. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms remedy not yet available.
