The contact stated that the recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 16v593000(suspension) was received in August of 2016 and the one for NHTSA campaign number: 17v012000 (air bags) was received in January of 2017. After contacting the dealer, burdick Mazda in cicero, new york, and the manufacturer on multiple occasions, the contact was informed that the parts needed for the recall remedy were still not available and no estimated time for receiving the parts could be provided. While driving various speeds, a clicking and humming noise were present coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired because the parts for the recall were not yet available. The failure mileage was unknown. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
