As I was rounding a curve on an access ramp to meld into ongoing traffic , the car engine died and I was forced to pull to the side and coast to a stop . I was fortunate that I had not gotten on the pw parkway when the car died as the parkway traffic was moving fast. The Mazda repair garage traced the problem to a fuel pump failure.
