Brake booster going out on my 2010 cx-9 at 97,000 miles Mazda is playing games saying if I bring to dealer and pay $120 diagnostic fee, they "may assist" if confirmed. Supervisor would not quote work but offered range of $800-$1300 for repair, would not provide how much Mazda would cover. Local shop charges $450. Mazda ripoff!.
Nhtsa recall number 16v-593. My car makes a rattle when I step on the brakes. When it is wet outside my brakes make a different noise until they dry out. Mazda said it wasn't a problem. Another business I go to said it's probably the rocker arms that need replacement.
Vehicle skids during rain/snow condition as if I will lose control of car. Brakes were checked & changed but the problem still occurs. I experienced on several different occasions over the past years. I contacted Mazda dealer and was told I had to wait to hear from manufacture. . . Still waiting.
I was starting the car in the morning on my driveway. I switched the car on r and I start to back up. When I pressed the brake pedal , I realized I have no brake power. It was impossible to stop the car. I had to used the parking brake to stop it. I've tried for 5 minutes to see if brakes are working with no result. They were dead!! when the card was started , there was no malfunction indicator on the dash. 2 months before this, I went to the dealership reporting that braking perfomance decreased a lot. They investigated the car and found "no defect" and told me the car is working as it should. . . Yeas sure!! my luck was that I was not driving the car on the roads. Imagine loosing brake ar 60 mph.
