The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 17v429000 (air bags) and 16v593000 (suspension); however, the parts needed for the repair were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called an unknown Mazda dealer in columbus, OH and was informed that the remedy part was not available for the repair. The manufacturer informed the contact that they could not do anything about it and did not offer further assistance. The failure mileage was 80,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

Failure Date: 01/01/2012

The contact owns a 2011 Mazda cx7. The contact stated that the doors automatic lock system failed and they do not lock automatically. The door can only be locked manually. The dealer reprogrammed the door lock system; however, the failure was not corrected. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,000 and the current mileage was 28,500.

The contact owns a 2011 Mazda Cx-7. The contact stated when he turned the vehicle on and shift into drive gear all five doors fail to lock unless he manually locked them. The failure was not diagnosed by a dealer or local mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,200. Upon unlocking the vehicle manually, the contact noticed that the unlock buttons on the interior also would not unlock the doors.
