The vehicle was diagnosed by an independent mechanic who stated that the front passenger seat main module needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was contacted, but could not assist. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 128,680.

2 Air Bag Light On problem

When starting the car the air bag light comes on and stays on for weeks then it will turn off. This has been happening for over a year.

3 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 06/08/2010

The contact owns a 2004 Mazda Mazda3. The contact stated that the air bag sensor light illuminated while driving 25 mph. The illumination of the air bag light indicated that there was a defect within the air bag or the air bag sensor, which could lead to the air bag malfunctioning during a crash. The contact noticed NHTSA campaign id number 04v468000 (air bags:frontal:sensor/control module) and called the manufacturer. The manufacturer stated that the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer did not provide any further assistance. The failure mileage was 70,000.

4 Air Bag Light On problem

The lights on the console keeps popping on. First it was the air bag light that took 4 unsuccessful visits to the dealer. That problem subsided? and now the engine light is popping on. . .
