The contact took the vehicle to a second independent mechanic and was informed that a loosened wire needed to be tightened and the rotor needed to be turned. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience failure. The contact stated that on another occasion while driving 70 mph, she heard a loud abnormal noise. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to park the vehicle on the side of the road. The vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to a second independent mechanic and was informed that the center driveshaft needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 124,000. The VIN was not available.
