1 Suspension Noise problem of the 2007 Mazda MAZDA5

Failure Date: 11/27/2016

The car has less than 68,000 miles. Diagnosed as all suspension needing to be replaced. The mechanic diagnosing said, " I wouldn't let my mom drive that car" and that the suspension could blow out at any time while driving. All the arms of the suspension are bad/haywire and need to be replaced. I noticed that other 2007 Mazda 5s have been recalled for the same problem. How I would wish that someone would please check if this 2007mazda5 should also be recalled-even though it was manufactured in a different timeframe than those currently in recall. It's a possibility you know. Please help. There is a very loud rattling sound, thudding of tires when driving at any speed and the back tires don't follow or "rotate" when turning-they "swing" and stay still, as if they lock. Also, the car floods extensively when it rains.

3 Suspension Noise problem of the 2010 Mazda MAZDA5

Failure Date: 12/03/2012

Tires make noise at 25+mph. Also tried to rotate them, but the inside thread worn unevenly (also mentioned here by others). The tire shop said that shocks need to be replaced, called Mazda, but they don't cover shocks/struts under power train protection. Also a major clunk at front suspension, mechanics can't figure out.

5 Suspension Noise problem of the 2009 Mazda MAZDA5

Failure Date: 09/01/2011

Rear shocks fail at 40k miles. Have the shocks replaced at the dealer, making the same noise at 50k miles. I think the quality of shocks and suspension for this car is poor.

9 Suspension Noise problem of the 2008 Mazda MAZDA5

Failure Date: 11/16/2008

The contact owns a 2008 Mazda 5. The contact stated that there were loose bolts on the rear passenger side suspension. While driving various speeds, the contact heard loud popping noises. The vehicle was taken to the dealer once and they planned on replacing the bushing and tightening the bolts on the suspension. The inner walls of the tires were wearing off due to the loose bolts, which also caused the suspension to slowly detach. The vehicle is currently in the shop for repair. The contact discovered that several other consumers were experiencing suspension failure as well. The failure mileage was 17,000 and current mileage was 21,000.
