Takata recall. For the past year the airbag light has been coming on. It seems to occur at warmer temperatures and goes away and colder temperatures. The code that comes back is b2234 and this is associated with the driver's airbag. I believe this has occurred because of the replacement of the driver's side airbag replacement that was done on my vehicle due to the takata recall.
Takata recall. Took my Mazda to a certified Mazda dealership to replace the defected air bags but the airbag light still stays on making me concerned that the problem with my airbags has not been fixed. I have a 4 month old that rides in this vehicle and I am concerned for her safety.

While driving the vehicle home from the dealer, the contact noticed the air bag light illuminated and contacted the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. I currently own a 2007 Mazda6 and have an airbag indicator light on all the time. Yesterday I received a letter from Mazda informing me of an airbag recall. The date on the letter is listed as February 2015. I tried their website and can't get an e-mail to anyone. They don't list a phone number to call. They do however give your e-mail address. So this leaves me out in the cold with only one way to seek help and it is from your dept. The letter indicates that in certain situations the airbag could deploy. In the letter it states to wait for the second letter because parts aren't available. This makes my safety at risk and seems as though Mazda isn't really concerned. Can you help me get in touch with someone who can look at my car and fix this problem. It is my only vehicle. I'm now afraid to drive this car but have no choice but to take that risk.
