Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Mazda 6. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 16v356000 (air bags) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The contact received the recall notification in July of 2016. The dealer (acadiana Mazda 1700sw evangeline thruway, lafayette, la, 70508) stated that they were inquiring about an interim repair, but the contact never heard any further information. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact mentioned that the passenger air bag warning sensor was illuminated. The failure mileage was unknown.
