The contact owns a 2000 Mazda Mpv. He stated that the rear brake pads were wearing prematurely. There was a recall on the brakes; however, his VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 01v382000. The brake pads were replaced accordingly. The manufacturer refused to take any liability for the recall repairs. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileages were under 122,000.
Clocking noise when brakes applied at low speed, moving forward or backwards. No recall or design for the brakes attachment pad clips which are causing the clocking noise.
